A one day course to instruct an Operator to prepare and operate various types of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms within defined categories and including the following course criteria:

• Mobile Elevating Work Platform Identification
• The purpose of Operator Safety Training
• Regulations and how they affect the Operator
• Safety rule and potential hazards
• The requirements of Personal Protective Equipment
• Workplace inspection hazards
• Pre-use checks
• Actual operation of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms

A practical test as well as a written examination must be successfully passed to allow the trainee to achieve accreditation. 

Average course length is a full 8 hour day; however this may vary and is dependent on the Trainee’s experience.

Trainees must come equipped with suitable Personal Protective Equipment including hard hat, safety footwear and appropriate safety harness.
